Running from May 11th to 13th this year, Safety & Health Expo 2010 is "Europe''s largest annual event for the industry".

Birmingham NEC is the venue for the show, which is expected to attract thousands of people working in the health and safety fields.

Exhibition stands representing over 300 distributors, suppliers and manufacturers, with new features and seminars planned for 2010.

"There''s no better place to discover how to remain compliant, reduce risk and manage costs," organisers claim, adding that benefits of exhibiting at the expo include generating new sales leads, launches, raising awareness, meeting existing clients and networking with other professionals.

In addition to the main exhibition, there will be over 90 hours of free seminars, new product launches and networking sessions available to visitors in 2010.

Other features for this year include the Access Industry Forum, the Product and Innovation Hub, the BSIF Safety Awards 2010, Explosive Substances Live and the BlackBerry Cafe.

Suppliers planning to showcase their products and services in 2010 could commission a custom modular exhibition stand in order to attract more visitors to their displays and ensure that they stand out from the competition.

The 2009 edition of the show from May 12th to 14th, attracted an estimated 19,575 professionals in the health and safety industry and more than 300 exhibitors.

Commenting on a previous Safety & Health Expo, Goliath Footwear sales and marketing director Stephen Hall said: "We are all about developing new products, and this gives us the one chance in the year to actually showcase the products all in one place. So it is probably the key component in the [marketing] campaign."
